John Morayniss, CEO – E1 Television
John Morayniss oversees the strategic growth of E1 Television as well as the well as the international production, development, licensing and distribution operations. In addition, he serves as Executive Producer on many E1 Television productions, with the latest being Hung, a dark comedy for HBO.
John was formerly the Chairman and CEO of Blueprint Entertainment, a thriving independent studio he founded with Noreen Halpern in 2002. Blueprint was bought by E1 Entertainment in 2008. Prior to launching Blueprint Entertainment, Mr. Morayniss was head of television for all of Alliance Atlantis' development and production activities, and oversaw and/or executive produced an impressive slate of award winning movies and miniseries.

Laszlo Barna, President – E1 Television
Laszlo Barna is President of E1 Television, Canada’s leading independent television production company.
Prior to this, Laszlo was President/CEO of Toronto-based Barna-Alper Productions which in July 2008 was acquired by E1 Entertainment. This acquisition was due in large part to the company’s successes as well as Laszlo’s leadership and expertise. Renowned for his prodigious energy, humour and commitment to excellence, Laszlo Barna’s long list of credits and awards attest to his abilities as a businessperson and storyteller.

Peter Emerson, President – E1 Television International
Peter Emerson, a long-term veteran of the TV industry, started Oasis International in 1991. In the ensuing years, Emerson grew Oasis into a highly profitable, highly recognizable name in international distribution. Along the way, Peter has executive produced and deficit financed an impressive array of projects including many TV movies and long-running series. In 2008, Emerson sold Oasis to E1 Entertainment to become the international sales and distribution arm of one of the world’s largest entertainment and distribution companies. Oasis is now known as E1 Television International and, with the backing of its parent company, has the significant capital resources to grow and strengthen its library of over 3000 hours of content. Most recently, E1 Television International realized record sales with the launch of The Bridge, Deadliest Sea and The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler at MIPTV 2009.

Valerie Cabrera, Executive Vice President – E1 Television
Valerie Cabrera is a business and management executive with 17 years in the television and distribution industry, and an extensive background in international programme sales, acquisitions, production financing, creative development and marketing. She presently handles sales to France, Benelux, Italy, Latin America and Hispanic US.

Prentiss Fraser, Vice President, Head of Sales – E1 Television
Prentiss Fraser joined E1 Television International in 2000 and has since risen to the position of Vice President, Head of Sales. She oversees all international sales and her personal territories include the USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Australia, Eastern Europe and several others. Fraser represents over 3000 hours of in house and third party productions including the upcoming CBS/CTV primetime drama The Bridge, the Teletoon tween comedy series Majority Rules, and the hit titles ReGenesis, Iggy Arbuckle and Kenny vs Spenny. In addition, Fraser oversees acquisitions, and regularly provides consultation on project development and financing to E1’s television production division and other producer clients.

Ben Bishop, Sales Executive and Sales Acquisitions Manager – E1 Television
Ben Bishop is responsible for all sales within Canada, as well as to Asia and Africa. Ben also plays a key role in program acquisition by developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with third party producers as we expand our growing catalogue of programming. He joined E1 Television International in 2005 with a four year background in television distribution with Alliance Atlantis.

Lisa Wookey, Director, Marketing & Communications – E1 Television
Lisa Wookey oversees Marketing and Publicity for both the TV Sales and TV Production teams. Over the course of her career Lisa has held senior marketing positions at some of Canada’s premier media companies, and has been involved in all aspects of the television marketing experience including public relations/publicity, advertising, client servicing, sales, new media and events/sponsorship.
